This guide presents a detailed open-source solution for adaptive scanning light field microscopy. Based on commercially available optoelectronic devices, it serves as an expansion module for conventional wide-field fluorescence microscopes. The solution offers a fully open-source hardware, software, and graphical user interface workflow for implementing scanning light field microscopy. It is also applicable to other types of light field microscopy instruments. It represents the first guide to high-resolution light field microscopy technology internationally, providing support for building simple and practical advanced microscopy imaging systems in biological laboratories.
