The Laboratory of Imaging and Intelligent Technology, directed by Academician Dai Qionghai of Tsinghua University’s Department of Automation, is inviting applications for doctoral positions from both the Department of Automation and the School of Artificial Intelligence. Passionate students interested in pioneering interdisciplinary research are encouraged to apply with their resumes.

The Laboratory of Imaging and Intelligent Technology focuses on cutting-edge interdisciplinary research, encompassing areas such as computational optics, microscopy, artificial intelligence, cognitive neuroscience, and optoelectronic computing.

Academician Dai Qionghai, serving as the Dean of the School of Information at Tsinghua University, a fellow of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, and the Chairman of the Chinese Association for Artificial Intelligence, has led extensive research in foundational theories and critical technologies. His work spans artificial intelligence-based stereo vision, computational imaging, and brain and cognitive sciences. With over a hundred publications in top-tier journals including Nature, Science, Cell, Nature Biotechnology, Nature Methods, and Nature Photonics, he has also mentored numerous graduate students who have been recipients of Tsinghua University’s special graduate awards and recognized as outstanding young academics.
